The use of a standard radio receiver inside the optical-acoustic alignment aid enables a true assessment of the encountered signal receptionconditions at the installation site. The optical-acoustic alignment aid reflects the reception conditions a radio ripple control receiver would be subjected to at the same location. This allows an optimum, unaltered assessment of the situation at the reception location.
